A batch of fixes to numbers and accounts that were wrong rather than missing, which is the worse kind, because a wrong number looks like an answer.
The bug in the title is the one that matters. For some TikTok posts the play count was being written into the likes column, permanently. A video with two million plays and nine thousand likes read as two million likes, so it outranked everything on the page and the ranking was quietly wrong. Fixed, and the affected rows no longer get written that way.
Along with it:
- TikTok rows whose "account" was actually a display name are now refused, and the real handle is derived instead. A handle regex was also storing the first 24 characters of an internal ID as if it were a username.
- Searching with no results now widens the window to all time once, so a hunt does not come back empty when the post you are looking for is three weeks old.
- The hashtag box on the explorer had no listener at all. Typing in it did nothing.
- X and Reddit were returning a PHP error instead of posts, on every plan.
- The URL said page 4 while the page was showing page 1.
Most of these came out of an audit rather than a report. If a number on a page ever looks wrong to you, tell us. Wrong numbers are much harder to notice than missing ones.
