RSS: seven signals per article, each one a link to the conversation

Every article in the RSS view now carries Bluesky, Hacker News, comments on the article, coverage across outlets and what the X and Facebook posts in our radar earned, next to Facebook, Reddit and Pinterest. Every chip opens the conversation it counts.

Cette mise à jour n'est pas encore traduite. Voici la version anglaise.

The RSS view used to know three things about an article: Facebook, Reddit and Pinterest. It knows seven now, and none of the new ones depends on a quota that can run out.

Filter and sort by any of them

Under the time range there is a new row, "With a signal on": Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, Bluesky, X, HN, Comments, Coverage. Switch one on and the list keeps only the articles with that signal, ordered by it. Switch several on to combine them. The sort menu has the same options if you want to filter by one network and sort by another.

What enters the score

Bluesky, Hacker News, coverage and the X and Facebook radar sums join the total engagement that ranks the list. Comments on the article are shown and kept in the history, but stay out of the score for two weeks while we measure whether they lead the other signals or only repeat them.

The X radar starts from today's captures and fills backwards: the tweets we already held are being resolved to the article they link, about 40,000 a day.
