The publishers surface now ranks the most-shared articles per outlet, and per topic across outlets. Topic rankings are their own URLs rather than a JavaScript filter, so they can be linked, bookmarked and found. A filter that vanishes on reload is invisible to everyone who did not click it themselves.
The same release fixed article dates that were showing as 1970 and added IndexNow, so new pages get submitted to search engines the moment they exist instead of waiting to be crawled.
