Free accounts hit clear, consistent limits across every network instead of quietly running out of results. Paid plans were checked to make sure nothing touches them.
The free plan used to end without saying so. You would reach the bottom of a list, press "load more", and get the same rows again, with no explanation, because the limit was the plan and nothing on screen said that.
Now every surface behaves the same way. The results stop where the plan stops, the button turns into the offer, and a short note says why. Locked numbers show a padlock instead of a zero, because a zero is a lie about a post with four hundred comments.
There are two limits and they run on different clocks on purpose. How many searches you can run is a daily allowance. How fast you can call the app at all is an hourly one. A daily brake on request rate would let a script burn the whole day in seconds and then lock the account out until midnight.
