This is why they can so easily believe nonsense about history or science. They didn't see it with their own eyes so they don't believe it. It's funny because many of them act in the opposite way with religious doctrine
but seriously you can’t really study history without studying science and engineering because. even if you just stick to military history; the history of war is a history of logistics and guess what that involves. boats and roads.
