The grid is good for browsing. When you are triaging a hundred posts, you want a table. Now there is one, and your choice is remembered.
X now has a list view alongside the grid: thumbnail, text, author, date, likes, reposts, replies and views in columns you can click to sort. Hovering a row brings up the full post with its image and every stat, so you can scan quickly without opening anything.
Your choice of grid or list is remembered between visits.
Handles are also stored correctly now. X uses relative profile links, which our reader was not following, so some posts were saved without an account attached.
