When your text passes the limit of a selected network (280 on X, 300 on Bluesky, 500 on Threads), an alert under the post names each account, says by how many characters, and shows the exact tail that would be cut. One click opens the per-account editors on that network, where the characters past the limit are painted and a Trim button cuts at the last space before it. The other networks keep the full text.
