A first comment deleted on every network still went out, because the post keeps its own first comment and an account without one inherits it. Each account now has three clear states: its own comment, the post's (shown as the placeholder), or none at all (a tick). The post's comment is shown at the top of the per-account editor with a button that clears it for every account, and the delivery log says where each posted comment came from.
